Portraits
A friend invited me to join POM’s (Portraits on Mondays) a few years ago where I started drawing portraits of the other members of POM’s in Jane’s temporary basement flat in the Emery Walker Museum in Hammersmith Terrace in London.
I’d never attempted drawing portraits and I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed trying to get a likeness.
When Jane moved to Harwich POM’s moved across the road to Anthea’s lovely where we continued to meet every Monday morning until the Covid pandemic prevented us from meeting in person.Since 2020 we have continued to meet on Zoom which Malcom kindly hosts and it aslo enables Jane ,the founder of POM’s to join us from Harwich.
